Important Weather Alert:

Due to forecasted inclement weather, there will be no meal deliveries on Wednesday, February 19, Thursday, February 20, and Friday, February 21.

Frozen meal clients will receive their regular weekly meal box on Monday and Tuesday.
Hot meal clients will receive their regular hot meal on Tuesday, along with a frozen box containing three meals to cover the closure.

PROGRAM TYPE

The Hospital Discharge Meals Pilot Program is a partnership with Meals on Wheels NC and UNITE US NC CARE 360. It is a pilot aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of providing healthy meals to high-risk adults (60+ y/o) after hospital discharge to reduce health complications and hospital readmissions through proper nutrition.
